How Far Would You Travel for lunch?

Not counting the fact that we are living about 5800 miles from home, we took the high speed AVE train 3 ½ hours north of Madrid to the town of Girona, just to eat at the three-star Michelin restaurant, El Celler de Can Roca. I made the reservation 11 months ago, when I knew we were moving here. That’s how far in advance you have to reserve a table. It’s been voted the #1 restaurant in the world by Diners Club over the past few years (often alternating with Noma in Copenhagen).
